You first need to go to your profile, hold on to the highlight, tap on edit name, and copy-paste a blank space (from a third party) instead of the current name.

Basically, just visit your profile page on Instagram and press the highlight you wish to edit.

A pop-up will then show up with the Instagram highlight settings.

Open the edit highlight setting

Now, you simply need to open the edit highlight setting to actually be able to change/delete the name of your highlight.

To do so, simply tap the Edit Highlight button.

A new screen will show up with all the stories of the highlight and the possibility to edit the name of it.

Now, you’ll need to delete your current Instagram highlight name by tapping into the name input.

Then delete the name.
